Yoga Nidra, or yogic sleep, is a state of consciousness between waking and sleeping. In this guided practice, you lie completely still in Savasana while your guide leads you systematically through the layers of your being — physical, energetic, emotional and causal — inducing a state of profound rest while keeping a thread of awareness alive. Research shows that 45 minutes of Yoga Nidra can be equivalent to 3 hours of deep sleep. Your session begins with Sankalpa — a heartfelt intention or resolve — which is planted like a seed in the fertile ground of the deeply relaxed subconscious mind.
